Choose bottling machines around the operation and production formats you need. Elitekno offers new equipment from European OEMs on request, alongside used bottling machinery. Use this guide to define requirements for filling, rinsing, closing, labelling, PET bottle production and packaging. Define the product, container, capacity and line interfaces so that each proposed machine can be assessed against a clear technical specification.
Send your machine specification or browse our used bottling machines catalogue.
Start with the operation you want to add or develop
Individual equipment can support a format change, an additional production task or the development of an existing line. Identify the operation, then define the required result: filled containers, applied closures, labelled bottles or finished packs. Record how the proposed machine will receive the product and transfer it to the next operation.
A monoblock combines operations within one machine configuration. An integrated PET block can combine blowing, filling and capping. Compare the operations actually included and their interfaces. For projects covering a complete production sequence, explore our bottling lines guide.
Specify each type of bottling machine
- Filling machines: define product characteristics, carbonation, filling temperature, container material and volumes. Review the proposed filling process, container handling, cleaning arrangement and format range.
- Rinsing equipment: specify the incoming container and required treatment. Review the rinsing medium, treatment sequence, nozzles, gripping parts and utility requirements of the offered configuration.
- Capping and closing machines: supply bottle-neck and closure drawings or samples. Confirm the closing technology, heads, settings, feeding equipment and format parts.
- Labelling machines: define label material, bottle shape, label position and artwork dimensions. Identify pressure-sensitive, cold-glue, hotmelt, roll-fed or sleeve application.
- PET blow moulding equipment: provide preform and neck specifications, bottle drawings and production targets. Review moulds, format capability, feeding systems, air and cooling requirements.
- Packaging machines: specify pack patterns, case or film material, container grouping and finished-pack output. Include the handover to conveyors or pallet handling.
For water, wine, beer, soft drinks or energy drinks, select the operations your production process requires. Match the documented equipment configuration to the product, container, closure and format specifications. Explore our used beverage application guides to develop the brief for an individual machine or a complete line.
Explore filling blocks, canning and packaging equipment
For combined bottle operations, our filling monoblocks guide explains how to specify the rinser, filler and closing configuration. For cans, review the body-and-end specification, filler, seamer and downstream flow in our canning lines and machines guide. For grouped packs and transport packaging, use our packaging equipment guide. These routes cover new European OEM equipment on request and the corresponding used-equipment options.
Translate product and packaging details into machine requirements
Product name and bottle volume are useful starting points. A filling-machine brief should also state the process requirements and relevant product characteristics, including pulp or particles where present. Cold filling, hot filling and aseptic filling require different configurations.
For closures, identify the neck finish and application requirements. For screw-on caps, review the specified application torque and the offered head technology. For labels, distinguish the application method and the actual materials to be used. Record format dimensions and reference samples in the machine specification.
Assess capacity at the machine and line interfaces
State the required output for each commercially relevant format, together with operating hours, batch sizes and changeover frequency. Ask the proposal to identify the conditions associated with the rated capacity.
For equipment added to an existing line, provide the surrounding machine speeds and the current production flow. Review conveyor height and direction, transfers, container handling and the space required for access. Identify the controls signals needed between the new unit and neighbouring equipment.
Capacity units depend on the operation. Record litres per hour for liquid preparation, bottles or cans per hour for filling, packs per minute for shrink wrapping and the specified cases, layers or pallets per hour for end-of-line equipment. Describe the format, grouping pattern and operating conditions so that the units can be converted and compared correctly.
Compare new European OEM and used equipment
For new equipment from European OEMs, assess the proposed model, configured options, format coverage and documented utilities. Confirm the offered configuration, supply scope, project timing and commercial terms in the individual proposal. List the tooling and ancillary equipment included.
For used equipment, review the installed configuration, condition information, available documentation, included change parts and proposed preparation work. Our used bottling machines guide and listings provide a route to individual equipment. Use the same product, format and integration specification when comparing both options.
Define changeover and verification requirements
Create a format schedule covering container dimensions, neck or closure, label and pack pattern. Identify the change parts needed for every format and the adjustments described for the proposed machine. Include planned future formats in the discussion.
Where inspection or acceptance testing is proposed, agree the samples, operating conditions and measurements. Define what will be demonstrated and documented, including the relevant filling, closure, labelling or packing result. Review electrical drawings, operating instructions and the controls scope as part of the equipment proposal.
Spare parts and tooling for the required formats
Elitekno can source spare parts and change parts, including timing screws, starwheels and format tooling, according to the machine and technical specification. Send the equipment reference, photographs, available drawings and container samples so that the required parts can be identified and their suitability reviewed.
For a format change, consider the complete container path through the machine: infeed, transfers, gripping or support, the working operation and discharge. A parts list should identify the items supplied, the proposed adjustments and the formats covered. The technical scope may also involve neighbouring machines and their handling parts.
Consultancy, overhaul and machine transfer
Our technical consultancy helps match the equipment to its intended operation and factory interfaces. Complete machine overhauls, commissioning and support through our technical network can be arranged to a defined project scope. Record the mechanical, electrical and format work proposed, together with the reassembly and start-up activities.
Worldwide transport coordination includes the documentation applicable to the route, with CMR where relevant. Professional packing, sea-container loading and moisture or corrosion precautions can be specified in the quotation. If you are replacing or releasing equipment, discuss machinery valuation, an on-site visit, consignment and space solutions. These services help plan the machine transition alongside the investment.
Frequently asked questions
Can a bottling machine operate as a standalone unit?
That depends on the offered configuration and operation. Establish its feeding, discharge, utilities, controls and operator requirements, then confirm the equipment included for standalone use or line integration.
Can one machine handle several formats?
Assess each format against the proposed machine limits and tooling. Record the container, closure or label dimensions, supplied parts and described changeover procedure for every format required.
One enquiry for equipment and the support it needs
Tell us which machine you need and where it will work. The team can discuss an equipment visit, supply terms and the services needed to move and introduce it into production: professional packing, loading, worldwide transport and, when requested, installation and start-up support.
The reservation deposit is specified in the order confirmation; the balance and subsequent project stages follow the contract. Service scope, charges, site readiness and responsibilities are agreed for the project, including work provided by your own team. Spare parts and change parts can also be requested for the relevant model and formats. See how Elitekno coordinates your machinery project.
Request a bottling machine proposal
Send your product, container and closure specifications, operation required, formats, target output, destination and existing-line details. Add drawings, layout, budget and timing where available. State whether you wish to discuss new European OEM or used equipment. Installation and start-up support can be requested, with the scope and charges agreed separately.
