Replacing a filler, labeller or packing machine in an existing German facility is a different project from buying a complete line. Elitekno helps compare the equipment and define the integration work. Begin with the installed process and the proposed change; the machine’s manufacturer and nominal speed are only part of the assessment.
Separate replacement, format changes and retrofit
A replacement unit may require new conveyor transfers, control signals or guarding. A format change can affect bottle handling, centring, filling, closure feeding and label application. A retrofit may introduce different drives or controls. Record the existing arrangement and the proposed changes separately so that the offer can identify responsibilities and interfaces.
BAuA publishes guidance on substantial modification of machinery. Use the official interpretation on substantial modification when discussing whether a proposed change alters the conformity assessment required. This is an equipment-specific assessment, not a conclusion that every used machine needs new certification.
Build an interface list before selecting the machine
- Mechanical: infeed and outfeed height, conveyor direction, transfer geometry, container pitch and installation space.
- Product and utilities: beverage conditions, cleaning scope, compressed air, electrical supply and any cooling or heating connections.
- Controls: start and stop signals, upstream and downstream interlocks and the agreed responsibility for connecting them.
- Formats: bottle or can drawings, closure details, labels, case pattern and the format components supplied.
Choose a process route for the actual beverage
For carbonated beer or soft drinks, provide the specified product conditions and container: an isobaric filler must be assessed with the rest of the process. For still wine or water, define filling and closure requirements separately. End-of-line speed also depends on bottles or cans per pack, packs per case and the pallet pattern; compare machines using those actual formats.

Agree inspection and integration support
Send the installation location in Germany, a line layout, available utility data and the required formats. Ask for the machine reference and current location before arranging an inspection. Dismantling, packing, transport, installation, commissioning or operator support can be requested; their scope and charges are agreed separately. Availability, suitability and applicable requirements are checked for the individual proposal through Elitekno’s central contact in Italy.

International machinery project planning
Do you own unused or decommissioned machinery?
Elitekno also helps owners plan the sale of bottling and packaging equipment they no longer use. A proposal can cover one machine, several units or a complete line. We assess the available information and agree the presentation and commercial terms before promoting suitable equipment through our portals and international channels.
You can start by asking for information or a preliminary assessment. Share the machine’s location, manufacturer, model and known condition; photographs and the planned decommissioning date help us understand the opportunity. If you have not set a price, the selling form lets you leave it blank and request an assessment.
Propose machinery or request an assessment → Ask for information first
The initial enquiry does not automatically publish a listing or commit you to a sale. The proposed transaction and any dismantling, packing, transport or other support are assessed and agreed individually.
